Report: Daniel Radcliffe signed for final two 'Potter' films

A few reports
circulating around say Daniel Radcliffe has signed definitive deals to appear in the final two Harry Potter films. Financial terms were not divulged, but Radcliffe is currently ranked #2 on Forbes' Young Hollywood Top Earners list.
DanRadcliffe.co.uk has received confirmation from Dan's publicist that he will in fact be returning to finish out the series.
Editor's note: Emma Watson told HPANA in September that she was looking for other work but would not rule out or specifically confirm her ongoing role as Hermione Granger. Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) told us he wants to finish the series as well.

It would have been dreadful if Harry, or Hermione or Ron for that matter, to be played by some other actor. I hate when that happens in movies/tv series. It's so distracting trying to convince yourself that they are the character (rather than an actor), so I am thrilled that it seems like they will all stick around.

This is great. the show wouldn't be what it is without the Trio. We knew that Dan and Rupert wanted to finish out the movies, and I am glad that Emma has that possibility as well. I have a lot of respect for them staying with it when, like Dan, they are haveing other offers to play in other things.

Oh thank god really! 'd actually hate them to change the actors after 5 films of the same actors! It wouldn't be right, i've got used to these actors and i seriously think it might put me off the films with different people! Dan is Harry! Emma is Hermione and Rupert is Ron! It would be wrong without them.

I'm glad that Dan will be returning for the series, and I'm sure that confirmation from Rupert is pending. The one who gives me concern is Emma. She started with HP and she should end with HP. Despite the fact that it just wouldn't be the same without her, she probably wouldn't be anywhere in the business is it weren't for HP and she would have a lot very, very angry Fans-or at least used-to-be-fans, if she doesn't return to finish out the series.
