The release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is just weeks away and the third and last W.O.M.B.A.T. test is now available on JK Rowling's web site
.
According to the site:
The Grade 3 WOMBAT is the final examination, and the most difficult. Not only is the subject matter much more advanced, but the examination is also more stringently marked. Certain answers will LOSE YOU MARKS, so choose carefully...
To see how to access the test please highlight the text below:
---====Thanks to Sir Wallis for the news. Also, some people may still see the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. Please be patient and it should work later today or you can clear out your browser's cache or go directly to the UK site
to take the test.

fortunatus vita- You don't need one to take the WOMBATs... you'll get a ID code at the end of the test you casn see your resluts later. If your having trouble, try going to the .net version of the site! or the .org. If those don't work, try to clean out your cookies!

YAY!!! good luck!! glad to help! I have to hit the hay now so here's a general guide to getting into the WOMBATs:
1) Make sure you did everything right
2) try the .net version of the site, or the .org!
3) clean out your cookies
4) Don't use the accessibility enabled version of the site, it doesn't work. Use the British version.
hope this helped! i'll be back tomorrow to help people! but if you want, send me an email or contact me in some way! bye!

For anyone still having problems:
1. Go into the UK version of the site, then
2. Click the eraser,
3. Wait for the fly to land on the window
4. Click and hold the fly, which will then turn into a key, and drag it to the keyhole in the door
5. the symbol: put the circle on the line, with the bottom of the circle lined up with the bottom of the line. Center the triangle ontop of the circle.
6. Click the symbol, then click the test!
If this doesn't work, I would try other people's suggestions of clearing cookies and updating flash players and using different browsers.

DiD
place the circle inside the triangle, then bisect the circle and triangle Vertically with the line
when these are lined up correctly, the image with shimmer, click on that, then the wombat papers will shimmer, click on that. then the test opens.

Hippiejane,
left click the fly and hold it. don't tap it, just keep your left click down. it will turn into a key. drag it over to the lock. let go. the door knob will turn.

I can't seem to do anything with the fly. It's landed on the window, but it's just sitting there, not flying away. I've tried clicking it, but it doesn't do anything. Help?

thanks fortunatus vita
I tried doing that first as alot of other people mentioend doing that too.
I actually got it work now, I found that if I left the computer for about 7 minutes I heared a kind of thunping door noise and when I went back when you place the arrow over the fly, it turns into the pointing finger so you know it will work when you click it.
thanks

are you using Internet Explorer? Some of the others said that when they were using different web browsers, that it didn't work.
