And they should!! Why would a company even bother doing that. I know people would jump at the offer to get the book before, but it just isn't fair at all!

Some pople always have to ruin the fun! I'm glad they're taking actions to stop this. Early distribution is just not fair for the publishing company, the other stores selling the books, and most importantly the dedicated fans!!

You'd think they'd have learned by now that it doesn't exactly pay to make a few bucks early! Oh well, it would have been nice to get a copy earlier than everyone else...

Hmm, in the press release, scholastic actually asked the people who received a copy early to wait until Midnight the 21st to start reading, but if I got one early, I'd start reading right away.
I was also wondering about the chapter titles and whether or not they were legit.

Hmmm...well...I am glad that they are starting to take legal action. That was horrible that they distributed before the release date.

The chapter titles and supposed epilogue were released before this happened. So their validity is up in the air. After all, Jo said to avoid the misinformation in the media. Take everything with a grain of salt.

Anything to make, God its getting horrible. I don't understand why poeple would want to ruin the story. I also think that its good scholastic is taking legal action. MAybe they will think twice before doing it next time a good book comes out. I don't think those chapter and epilogue spoilers where true. It was from a hacker not an early reader. Also Iam waiting to get my copy at the midnight party and I have no intention of recieving it early.

:P to the people who spoil...
Even if I did get my copy early, I still wouldn't post the stuff online. AMAZING! The customer who posted it should be prosecuted as well.

I can't believe they thought they would get away with selling copies early. I'm glad they're taking legal action over it. As much as I want to read it, we've waited this long, we can wait another few days.

If you ask me, these companies are a little thick-headed, what did they think, that they were gonna be let off the hook or something?!

On one hand, I would like to have had one of those copies. On the other hand, waiting will make it just that much better. I was tempted to download the book images, but I want to hold the book in my hands. Call me old-fashioned.

I just want to know what happens already. IF I were in a store that was selling copies of the new book, it would be VERY hard to just walk away. I think I'd grab one. BUT I would NEVER spoil it for anyone.

I hope these companies get shut down. It is such a disappointment that people would do this. They are trusted to keep this under wraps and they just cna't do it. I hope that Scholastic does bring charges against them, and I hope they really get into trouble.

They did that?! How horrible! No wonder people are so worried about spoilers. It sounds like there's a huge chance that someone out there will have the book ruined for him or herself.
Man, I hope Scholastic gets them good.
