The interview was interesting. I really thought that the film lacked music in many instances to the point of distraction but the music that was there was fantastic.

I'm not sure whether to go in for another deluxe edition after purchasing the Deathly Hallows. William's music deserves such a edition as well, and I was rather looking forward to getting the orchestral score (quite expensive though). Still, I liked Hooper better than Patrick Doyle.

Ah, I already have the regular edition soundtrack... that would be cool to have a limited edition. Is this the first time they've released a limited edition Harry Potter soundtrack???

It reminds me of the special edition Lord of the Rings soundtracks. It's really fancy and pretty, but I wonder if it's worth it to buy. I'd rather just by the soundtrack on iTunes.

I might have to buy that. Normally I do not but the soundtracks but the packaging on this special addition sounds so cool I might make OOTP the first I buy since SS.

I'd think about getting this if it wasn't almost 40 dollars. A little to pricey for me.

Oh WOW!
That is such a cool presentation box for a movie soundtrack!
I will definitely keep my eyes peeled in shops here in Australia for it, as this is the 1st soundtrack from a HP movie that I have ever considered purchasing.

Livian Silver says:
I agree with Mrs. S. Snape, in that there were so many places in the film that lacked music. That was one thing that stuck out about the film - the lack of music or any sound other than the dialog. Even the short film I made for my film course had background music all the way through it. Nothing sounds worse than no background sound at all, unless your scene requires silence.
I have nothing good to say about this CD.

That might be a really fun thing to own, quite nice and fancy. I really did like the soundtrack, and felt that the music fit well with the scenes. Seemed more upbeat than the previous soundtracks, although I liked those, too.

It looks all fine and dandy, but I don't think I'd pay nearly 40.00 bucks for a soundtrack, heck paying 30.00 bucks for a dvd is alittle to much in my book but hey, you do what you have too. It looks great though!

This is cool because most people dont care about classical music, so its nice that they are boosting support for that, but John Williams is the best composer ever and its a shame he no longer does the hp movies.
