Update: First pictures of Dan in 'My Boy Jack'

The first pictures
of Daniel Radcliffe from his upcoming film My Boy Jack have appeared on the web. The television movie will air later this year on ITV in the UK and U.S. public television station PBS has bought the rights to air the movie via it's Masterpiece Theatre series.
The movie synopsis:
The true story looks at how Rudyard Kipling used his influence to get his 17-year-old son Jack (played by Radcliffe) a commission with the Irish Guards, despite his son's poor eyesight.
Jack went missing in action during the Battle of Loos and his mother and father carried out an ardent search for him, spanning many years and many miles of soul-destroying discovery.

It's really good he's getting out there and doing more films though. It'll be good if he doesn't end up completely typecast as Harry Potter.
And I agree that he really is getting so much better at his acting. He's very convincing in OotP, I must say. :)

I'm so impressed with Dan's career, he is playing such fantastic and different roles. He is without a doubt the most interesting versatile young actor. He was very very good in OotP, and after seeing how absolutly brilliant he was in Equus, it's obvious the HP movies don't let him so all his talent, so I can't wait to see My Boy Jack and December Boys.

He is a very intelligent person, I really like the roles he is choosing, they are all very interesting, different and challenging.
There is no other young actor like Daniel, the things he is doing, it's outstanding.

Wow, what an incredible change! Good on you, Dan- I guess we can expect wonders from him, just as his acting career is about to really pick up, I can't wait to see what he portrays next- it'll be really interesting to follow every one of the HP actors to see what they do next.
Shows he really has a lot of talent to switch gears so drastically. It'll be nearly impossible for me to *really* think of him as anything other than Harry Potter, though!

He truly has become an outstanding actor. I think he deserves an Oscar nod for his work in OOTP. It was truly superb how he brought out the emotional torment of Harry's fifth year.
