With filming to start on Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince later next month comes news that some filming of the movie will take place at Lacock Abbey where scenes from the first two movies were filmed.
According to the article
:
But the filming crews want to return to Lacock with many of the main characters to capture a series of spooky night scenes for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the protagonist Potter, is set to be involved in the local filming.
The movie-making teams now have permission to return for four days in October and film scenes between 5pm and 5am.
High Street and Church Street will be closed and the bus stop outside the George Inn looks set to be relocated for the duration.
Production on the movie is scheduled to start in September and if you happen to be at any area when filming is taking place and you won't get into trouble, try and send HPANA some pictures, we would really appreciate it.

I will have to look up Lacock Abbey to confirm the locales from the first two movies, so thanks to Tikihaha* for posting the link. I wonder what two scenes they will be. Hoping that there will be much less cutting of vital scenes in the next two films.

Oh wow, that sounds great.
I always liked the scenery and "feel" of the first two movies. It's how part of Hogwarts still looks in my head ;) I wonder what scenes will be shot there...

That's so cool! Lacock is about 20 minutes from where I live :) Might get my dad to drive me over and have a look.
/Sarah;;Sawrus\, Lacock is a village in Wiltshire, Southern England, where Harry Potter scenes have been shot and also some from the 1995 version of Price and Prejudice.

Brilliant...Lacock Abbey is the right place, where the first movie was made, including the cottage where Harry's parents were killed by Voldemort.

Glad to see they are trying so hard to keep up with the rapid pace, so we can keep our beloved stars from the first movies. I know they have to be getting tired too, but to lose them would completely destroy the movies at this point. They have come so far!

Ohhh How I wish I could go there and get some pictures, even just to walk by and see it being filmed in action would be so amazing. However, that is very very very unlikely....well, the best I can hope for is that perhaps someone will get some amazing photo's and post them on here.... :)
