I love HDM but like all books to movies they've tried to screw it up as much as possible, including moving the end of The Golden Compass to the beginning of the next movie.

Thank goodness less people are mocking Evanna's choice of clothes! She looks lovely in her own style - Katie looks awesome as well.
I read the Dark Materials series a few years back - I'd read them again, but I've got all these English books to get through :( THe movies should be good!

Well it's good that they're getting a lot of promotional recognition lately. especially for evanna since she's one of the newbies in the film. i hope that they show more of the other actors

Ayashe actually I do know what the books are about and do not appreciate being personally atatcked. Since Harry Potter and His Dark Materials are nothing alike I do not see where you get that I shouldn't like the HP books.

Interesting. I hope they had funa and enjoyed the movie. It's funny to me. I have heard rumors that the Golden Compass is very anti-God...seems funny they said the same stuff about HP. They say it is opposite to Narnia. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
