A painting by "Harry Potter" actress Katie Leung is set to be auctioned
off in Edinburgh today to raise money for the Prince's Trust, Scotland
.
You can read more and see the painting here
and Katie says of her painting:
The meaning behind my drawing shows the two birds encouraging and supporting each other even though life may see hard, boring or monotonous; hence the plain background. But as long as we help each other out and become motivated and hopeful, despite the negativity surrounding us, we will find happiness within ourselves - and this is conveyed through the birds' vibrant colours.

It's a very beautiful drawing. I would love to own it. Not only is Katie beautiful but very talented in many ways and insightful too. I really like the fact that many of the Harry Potter stars do something for charity.

Interesting tidbit on one of the actors. Nice to see her working to give something back to those less fortunate. All the actors in the HP films have been very good this way.

I really like the fact that even though it is a simple painting, it has a deeper meaning to it that should be expressed more often. It is also really cool that she is auctioning it off for charity. Way to go Katie!

Well, well, well, well! ;) An artist as well as an actress. Well, I'm glad it's for charity.
Good intentions and interesting symbolism in her work, although the ideas do strike me as the slightest bit trite.

Nothing against Katie Leung, but i wouldn't buy her work. I think its amazing that she's painted something to sell for Prince's Trust. just saying; I wouldn't buy it. Dunno. It's just one of those things....
Kudos to Katie for her humanitarianism, though.
