J.K. Rowling has updated her site with entries in her diary
, news when the show J.K. Rowling - A Year In The Life will air in the UK, extra stuff, something about Harry and Dudley in the future and answers some frequently asked questions from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book.

Hey did anyone else have a proble looking at the new stuff on JKs site? Whenever I go on there in the Extra stuff section I can see the DE skull but it's underneath the other options so I can't select it. The only way I was able to read it was from the link Hpana had on the page for just the writing only.
Well anywho that was really very lovely.

I'm doubly happy because I finished book 7 this morning and loved it, of course!
Few comments:
Diary: She sounds a bit defensive. I imagine a few Potter fans or detractors trying to pigeonhole the ending were disappointed, but real fans understand how she feels. I for one am not disappointed one bit about the ending! As for favorite book of the series, that may change with subsequent rereadings when I can get them, but right now it's already no. 2 behind Prisoner of Azkaban, and that's more than I could have wished for.
News: Too bad ITV isn't on regular cable. I won't wish I'm British, but someone's gonna have to review it.
Xtras: Nice to know what the core of the elder wand is, and Dudley's turning out more sensible than his parents, at least. But I imagine Dudley's kid wouldn't have lasted longer than a day at Hogwarts-Uncle V. wouldn't have allowed it.
FAQ: I agree choices were important. Voldemort couldn't have abided anyone else but himself killing Harry; Harry did not shrink from his responsibilities. The souls' meeting and Harry's talk with DD was surreal. I couldn't believe I was reading it, but so there.
