According to the A & J Management website (the casting agency also in charge of Jessie Cave, slated to play Lavender Brown), 17 year old Scarlett Byrne has been cast in the role of Pansy Parkinson for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Besides I thought there already was a Pansy. I thought that the girl in PoA who was asking Draco if his arm hurt was her, hmmm maybe it wasent. o.O

She looks like she could play the part of Pansy well. I'm not too worried how she looks, since they sometimes appear quite different in the movie. I do remember as described as ugly, so we'll have to wait and see how that comes out. I wonder why they're casting a new actress for the part anyway.

See this is what i've been saying all along. Pansy Parkinson was not an important role in HBP. Yet they'll include a scene with her and cut out much more important scenes and characters like Fleur and Bill. Doesn't make sense!
