A new image from the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie will be previewed in next weeks issue of Nick magazine. The image
and article, while small, shows Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Gryffindor common room.
You can see a larger version of the image here courtesy of Ron and Hermione source and thanks to Portus for the original news tip.
We are trying to get a high resolution version of the image and will let you know if and when we do.

It is wonderful to finally see pictures come out from this film, after months of tight secrecy from the crew! Hopefully Warner Brothers provides the media with more photographs soon, and the trailer will be available within a couple of months. :)

Awesome. I do believe this is one of the first pictures I have seen at all for the movie. I'm behind. If you read the paper Emma's holding you can see it says more disapperances at the ministry. Also dan looks like he is holding maybe the Potions book?

Love the picture! Even if it is the only one, more should still be on the way (and perhaps a trailer too?). It's fun to begin speculating which scene this is. If that is the potions book Dan is holding, it looks a tad smaller than I would have thought (maybe it's the angle the photo was taken at).
