Tonight, Nickelodeon held their annual Kids' Choice Awards, and the Harry Potter series has won
the "Favorite Book" category.
The other nominees in the category were Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight, Volume One: The Long Way Home, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and How to Eat Fried Worms.
Congratulations Jo, enjoy the blimp!

Well I can't say that I am surprised that HP won again, but still congratulations to JK and may she win many more awards for many years to come! I have read only one of the other books nominated, HP still definitely deserved to win!!!

The Harry Potter Series winning at the KCA's was the least suprising moment of my life. The HP series wins every single year it get's nominated at the KCa's, so of course it won last night. With DH out, with it being just about the #1 book sold in the HP series, of course it's going to win. I wonder if Jo get's one of those oronge balloons everytime HP wins. She really should, those are her books, she should get the award. I could just imagine, she's in her bedroom, staring at the many awards she's won for her best selling books, then staring at a bunch of oronge blimps...
I'm sad that HP didn't get nominated for best movie(some of the movies that did get nominated really shouldn't have, honestly). Rupert, Emma and Dan didn't even get nominated for best actor/actress. That was really surprising to me.

So surprise what so ever. They always win the Kid's Choice awards. So many new kids discover Harry Potter that keeps the fan base Goind. Harry Potter is just so timeless like that :P
