Last month we let you know that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling received the James Joyce Award from the Literary and Historical Society at University College Dublin and now the full transcript from the event
is online.
During the event Ms. Rowling answered questions from the audience and discussed Dumbledore, the final battle scene from Deathly Hallows and briefly mentions that it will be about 10 years from now before she goes back to the series.

What a great article. I would love to see her write about Harry Potter again in ten years, that would be great! I can't believe how she feels about OotP, I am one of those people who claim that book to be their favourite! I love that book!

It is always interesting to read what JK has to say. It was interesting to read about JK explaining that British Boys don't hug! She seems like she would be really funny to talk to. It was sweet to hear how she though Evanna was so well cast as Luna, because she so was! It would be so great if she went back to writing about the HP world, even if I had to wait 10 years!

I think it is so cool that she thinks so highly of Evanna! She has to be the luckiest HP fan of all! I love her as Luna, and I also find myself imagining her as Luna when I read. I hope that they find the perfect person to cast as Xeno as well.

Always good to read a new discussion from Jo. With the seventh book published, she no longer has to keep certain bits to herself, and we can get the whole answers.

Jo has to write again in the HP world. it doesnt even have to be about Harry at all. I just need to read something from that world. that would be so awesome.

I like what she says about the whole Dumbledore being gay thing. A lot of people have gone and on about how she ruined the whole series for kids by saying that. But she didnt bring it into the books, it's just a background thoery that explians why he went along with Grindelwalds plans in the first place.
