'Deathly Hallows' movie to be filmed in Lochaber, Scotland later this year

The Scottish Highlands and Islands Film Commission are reporting
today that filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie will be shot in Lochaber, Scotland later this year.
You may remember that back in February producer David Heyman stated in an interview that they "won't start filming 'til February next year" so we are unsure as to when actual filming will take place or who will be participating.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will hit theaters in November 2010, followed by Part II in May 2011.

This has been the greatest decade. I can't remember what life was like before Harry Potter. I just want it to go on forever.

These actors aren't going to have a lot of free time in the next few years. They have tons of extra filming to do because DH was split into 2, HP promotion when the movies come out, DVD promotion, filming... Sounds like a load of hard work.
Filming in Scotland, that sounds like a great idea. Scotland is absolutely beautiful(I've never been there, but the pictures I've seen amaze me). Is this only a rumour? If it is, it's better than the rumour that said OotP was going to be filmed in China. Now that was a crazy rumour!

OK - just a random suggestion - would it be too much of an effort for the filmmakers to make this final film actually LOOK as though it was shot outdoors??!! The previous two movies looked so staged and fake that I doubt that one scene was actually filmed outside.
It's nice that they're filming in Scotland, but it'll be even better if we get that sense that they're filming OUTSIDE - and not just using the shots of Scotland on blue screen CGI effects ...

Well we know when the films are coming out, I assume that they will be filming them at the same time. Though I imagine there are a more special effects in this films especially the ‘part two’ with the battle of Hogwarts and they need to shoot the special effects spots early because of the time in post production.

I still don't understand why DH won't be released until Nov. of 2010. If the filming starts in Feb. of 09, it should be ready by Feb of 10 or there abouts.
I don't see any reason to make us wait so long.
