As reported today by various media, HPANA has independently confirmed that a 15-second teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will appear in IMAX theaters before The Dark Knight by Warner Bros.
No word on the contents of the trailer itself.

What's so funny is that even though this is really exciting news, when the actual trailer comes out, we will be looking back to this one saying, "Why did I get so excited about something so lame?" I don't get it. Every other movie has a trailer out so much longer before it opens as compared to HP. There are previews out for movies that are coming out in January. As if the suspense of waiting for the preview (that's a lame statement by itself) is going to make people want to see it. They don't advertise nearly enough to the general public (not to mention, us). Some people aren't even aware when the movies are out and miss the opportunity to see it in theaters. It's just so silly.
