Universal Orlando has just posted new concept art for the Three Broomsticks pub at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
theme park, currently under construction in Florida.

We're delighted to say that the Three Broomsticks will be part of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort... and now you can get your first glimpse!
Get a peek at the NEW early concept artwork depicting the Three Broomsticks, where you may enjoy authentic food and drink from the world of Harry Potter upon its opening at Universal's Islands of Adventure.
Also available is a new poll asking fans which magical refreshment they would prefer to order (one is already heavily favored in the results).

The art is fantastic. As for the poll, I voted for butterbeer although I hope they make it non-alcoholic 'cause I don't drink and don't really like the idea of it. Yeah. It's a quarter to four in the morning and I need to sleep.

The Three Broomsticks isn't exactly what I pictured, but I'm still really impressed with it -- and the same goes for Hogmseade in the winter. It seems like they're going to do a really good job on this.

Ok, so I realize that during the school year I am completely immersed in teaching school and all that it entails, but where the heck was I when Universal put this website up?!?!?!?!?
Any way, I am very impressed by the conceptual art, so far it looks pretty faithful! Had to add my vote to the "poll" of course it looks like I am in the minority. :( But still exciting!

I am very surprised that the concept art looks good. I work at Universal and usually they just throw a bunch of stuff together and it turns out well. I guess since J.K's camp have been overseeing everything it will truly be a magical.

That looks fantastic. A lot bigger than what I pictured the Three Broomsticks to be, but, then, one does need to accommodate a lot more people.
My main disappointment is that, without a doubt, it will be a "family" establishment, i.e., no alcohol. I could take the fam, but once they're tucked in for the night, I'd want to sneak off to the Hog's Head for a shot of firewhisky, some elf-made wine, some oak-matured mead, or a bucket-sized tankard of whatever it is that Hagrid likes. (I figure that Hagrid likes Guinness, but that's a projection of my own tastes.)
I wouldn't be at all surprised if they bottled some butterscotch-flavored soda for people to buy and take home at faintly ridiculous prices, but I would be surprised if it was really good.
