Broadway rehearsals for Equus staring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths from the Harry Potter movies, are set to begin on Friday, August 8. The play is set to run from September 5 through February 8, 2009.

Brilliant that Dan has dedicated himself to the production again. It's a long run (for a play like this - no comparison to big musicals) especially since he'll plunge straight into a double HP shoot straight after.

Equus really was a great play. The way Dan acts out Alan Strang is just simply amazing. People who get to see it are really lucky. I'm seeing it on Feb. 4th. I would have loved to see it on the last day of the show but it was sold out.
But, I am going to go into the city on the 25th of September late that night to get his autograph after his show(the 25th is the first real show, not a preview show).

It so cool that they're doing an American run of this production. If I was located closer to NYC, I'd definitely try to get some tickets! I think it would be really neat to see Richard Griffiths in a live theater production. He's a legend.
