Daniel Radcliffe once again graces the cover of DETAILS magazine and in an interview accompanying the magazine talks about the future, Harry Potter and more.
Some snippets from the interview
:
On his dream role: I think part of me would love to play a drag queen, just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup.
On his generation: I don’t pretend to do anything particularly wild. People talk about rebellion and they say, ‘Where is the teenage angst?’ But I say I try to do it simply by the choices I make in the work I do. I just like wrong-footing people. I write poetry and I love it. I like being different from most other people in my generation.
Video with complete photo spread will be posted later today, with the issue available on newsstands Tuesday, September 9th. Thanks to Meredith from DETAILS magazine for the information.

Now that's one interview I really enjoyed.
I think Dan would make a fantastic drag queen. I'd love to see him in drag, but then I'd like to see a lot of guys in drag.
I'm glad he's not afraid to admit his desires.
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

Oh wow, I think the new pic of Dan on the cover of Details is stunning! He looks fabulous! I thought the interview was excellent as well and I really like his quote about his family and how they all work together as a team. It's because of them that he turned out to be so down to earth, charming and humble!

Nice interview by the way. I liked the phrase he wrote in Deathly Hallows, I thought that was pretty awesome.
He's alright Daniel Radcliffe, I'm not in love with him or anything (though he is pretty cute) but he's a nice guy, how he doesn't smoke or cause huge headlines like 'Taking Drugs' or 'Trashing A Party' or whatever.
So he's pretty good and I hope he gets lots of stuff after Deathly Hallows. :D

Fantastic interview! Dan should so do Pricilla on Stage! Haha..
I too would be pretty pissed off if I had to live in America whilst being 18-20 years old, and 18 being the drinking age in my home country!
I really loved this, he is such a joy to watch and read about.
Sorry Dan, but Ricky Gervais' (friggen genious) The Office kicks the American's butt!

It is a great interview. Nicely done.
He has grown up so fast. He is nineteen now, but it seems like he is still that 11 year old kid with a great smile.
Personally I am not that fond of the hair. Like someone pour paint on it. Sorry.

I just about died laughing that the article mentioned Radcliffe celebrated reaching England's age of consent in "customary" fashion. Ha! I'm very glad he had the sense to save that TMI moment for a magazine NOT commonly read by the tween demographic. XD
Interesting article. He seems very self-aware and more intellectual than the average 19-year-old. And thank goodness he's turned out far better than other former child stars. Kudos to both Radcliffe and Grint for growing out of the "child star" typecast gracefully and taking on diverse and divergent roles completely removed from the Harry Potter universe. (Speaking of Rupert Grint, I'm still waiting for his in-depth interview with smokin' magazine cover!)

Caroline81, I agree with your thoughts exactly. I don't have a serious issue with him now, just not sure about the direction he's going in.
Raymiz, caroline81 did not sound arrogant for having a preference on personalities. Don't jump down her throat. And who said anything about preferring him "inarticulate and timid," which he has never been anyway? Dan is obviously maturing, and nobody wants to "stifle development," but we can't all enjoy the same personality quirks as everyone else, or it would be a very dull world, indeed, you agree?

Raymiz: Damn, you've totally uncovered my deep inner secret to quell all physical, psychological and emotional development! Oh woe is me! Whatever shall I do? I just
love the idea of a repressed society that has no development and marches along in unison to a common, unified artificially sanctioned goal! We should all remain robots, and I am saddened and upset that Dan has been the first to mature and cast away these bonds of servitude! He will, inevitably, be the first of many, and my dream will crush and shatter; I may have to find another reason to live. Excuse me while I go and cry...
PS. Thanks Mollymomma! :)

It would be intersting to see him as a drag queen. Somebody posted that part of the article on their locker in my school and I though it was a joke. But I guess he's serious about that. Can't wait to see if he acctualy gets that role.
