In a new interview
with actor Rupert Grint discusses his new movie Cherrybomb which he recently finished filming in Northern Ireland. Grint talks about his character, a love scene and the fact that he only had one week of rehearsals for the film.
Rupert on only one week of rehearsals for his new film:
On Harry Potter, we do a scene every few days, and this was like 12 scenes a day. It’s a much tougher shoot, really, and quite tiring, but it’s good, to be at this much faster pacce. I prefer it to the waiting around. You’re always moving about. And at least I’m playing such a cool, different character that I’ve never done before. It’s nice to get to act like you’re more confident, even for a little bit.
Cherrybomb will be released next year in the UK with additional release dates to be announced later. Thanks to MTV via the SnitchSeeker for the link.

I'm glad to see that he had a chance to play a totally different type of part in this movie. Three teens on a weekend joy ride of drinking, drugs and shoplifting is just about as opposite from his character in the HP series as he can get. It will be exciting to view him as a more confident individual than what we are used to. Although I will always have a soft spot for him as Ron Weasley.

YEAH for Rupert getting to continue his career and to grow and learn and not stay stuck for his whole life as Ronald Weasley. Although I will enjoy him in other things he will always be Ron to me..... He is so good at it. I loved him in Driving Lessons also.

Ruperts the bomb...Cherry Bomb that is, he will do well. He has to understand that in Harry Potter, they were kids and could not perform a full days work. Now, that he is an adult, movies will be faster, more scenes, harder and more income.
