Warner Brothers has released a new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince picture depicting Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall in contemplation.
UPDATE: Additional promotional images from the movie have also been released of Luna, Ron, Hermione and Prof. Dumbledore and are now online

No, its not a pic of when Dumbledore died. Remeber in an earlier pic where her Snape, and the trio were looking at the necklace? It lookes like that pic is right after that scene.

I have to agree with a couple of the above posts on a couple different topics. One, I, too, am not appeased by the WB gods with these photos here and there. This in NO way makes up for pushing HBP out to 2009. I am holding firm onto this grudge and I won't go see any WB films at least until next fall. And believe me, that is really hard because I'm a big time movie geek and go to the theater all the time. *sigh* On a happier second note, I have to agree that Maggie Smith plays Professor McGonagall just like I read the character in the books. There are a few other actors that get close to my imagination but none like Maggie or (the late) Richard Harris' Dumbledore. Those two were the most solid cast selections made I think (aside from the trio). So that's my two cents.

I'm tad curious of what parts of the movie it came from. I love this actor and character. She's brilliant at it. I couldn't image anybody doing any better or being the part. I'm excited about the movie, but also sad. Sad the fact since the books are over, and after this movie be one movie left then no more Harry Potter. But I guess it will live in true HP fans for ever.
