In a new interview
with Scifi.com, Alan Rickman talked briefly about the filming schedules of himself, as well as Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix), and Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
"Well, it'll be a big finish, won't it?" Rickman said. "That's true, and appropriately. You can feel it now, the size of the undertaking. Watching Daniel [Radcliffe], I saw a trailer for him being on Inside the Actor's Studio, and you think, 'Wait a minute, he's 12! Oh. Perhaps he isn't.'"
The new production schedule also affects Rickman personally. "Well, because they have to get me and Ralph Fiennes together, it means I don't start shooting it until the end of next year, which means I get room now in this coming year," he said. "So it's going to be long. I was talking to Helena yesterday. I think she starts in June, and she goes on for a long time."

Tim Burten is doing Alice in Wonderland? Fantastic! I can just picture Alan as the caterpillar with a long hooka tube in his hands saying "Who- R- U- ?" Now this is something to look forward to.
His comment about Danial being twelve years old was quite funny. Evidently he didn't realize that he's all grown up.
Now it's my turn to say it. "I can't wait to see the Alice in Wonderland movie".
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

I'm glad to read Rickman's interview and liked his understated comment on Radcliffe's age. Rickman has a good sense of humor. Rickman had a part in Sense and Sensibility

I just can't wait to see the part of the Flight of the Prince. Seeing the History of Snape and Dumbledore is going to be awesome. Especially seeing a young Snape. It's going to be really interesting.
I love Alan Rickman as Snape. They did a great job of casting all the characters, though some are iffy at time*coughs....Gambon...*cough...Dumbledore...*coughs.

Nice to see the final films ramping up. There is a lot of great material in the last book. The only sad part is having to wait so long to see them.

I can't wait to see him in the last film! It's going to be brilliant! In the interview he also mentioned being the Caterpillar in TIm Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland which is bound to be unique. Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Botam Carter (Belatrix!) as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway and the White Queen. And then CHristipher Lee?? wow!
Alan has his work cut out for him!

it's good to see what other projects the actorsare doing along with the Harry Potter films. Mr. Rickman's visual descriptions of his face blened with animation is visual, as I can visualize the delightful live and animation blending together to become a composite.
