In a new interview
, Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) talked about his love for working on the Harry Potter films, as well as his take on the Deathly Hallows film split:
"Unfettered fun" is how Isaacs describes the experience of playing the Malfoy. For a moment, he talks about Malfoy's focus on "racial purity - it sounds like right-wing political campaigning," but then he says, "I don't want to look at the serious side of it. It was too much fun. It was an opportunity for me to play like my kids play, and to chew up the scenery with some of the greatest actors in the world... They prove that it's not true that an unhappy film set makes for a good film...
"We had a ridiculously good time making them," he says, recalling specific scenes with Richard Harris, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes and, of course, Harry himself, Daniel Radcliffe.
Talking about how the last book is set to be made into two films, he says ominously, "I think that's a mistake."
After a beat, he adds, "It should be made into 10 films so I can do it for the rest of my life."

Wow, I'm glad he thinks splitting the movie is a mistake. And I'm glad he's enjoying himself, it shows when you watch the movies. It looks like they've made life long friends. Laughs.

It is wonderful to see actors like Jason Issacs to have the opportunity to enjoy their work. I liked his comment that the film should be split into 10 parts.

He's a great actor and does a great job so we are glad to have him. I agree, DH shouldn't have been the only film to be divided.

It should totally be made in 10 films! Who doesn't want the series to go on forever and ever? All the movies should have been split 10 times. They could have gotten every little tiny tidbit of the books in then! It would have been fantastic for them to have done it that way! Haha.

This is cool. I like Jason Isaacs as an actor. He makes a very creepy and icy Lucius Malfoy. It is just like chills to see him.

I love Jason! He's the perfect villian. And they definitely should make them into 10 films! They should have made each book into 10 separate films. Haha. That would be great for us fans, but definitely not for the actors. That whole aging process would get in the way.
