In a new interview with MTV, David Heyman (producer of the Harry Potter films) confirmed that they will be filming the epilogue from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows while revealing several details regarding this scene in the process.
“We will shoot it,” producer David Heyman confirmed for MTV News. Rowling wrote a flash-forward ending to The Deathly Hallows that shows where the characters end up as they grow older. Heyman also indicated that the original Hogwarts actors would be filling those roles for the sequence, rather than being replaced by older lookalikes.

I'm not sure if not using older look-a-likes is a good thing. Older look-a-likes sometimes work well, but sometimes they're just awkward.

Awesome! I didn't particularly like the epilogue, not a lot of people did. There was just something... well, I'm not sure, there was just something lacking about it. Oh well, no biggie. Can't wait to see it anyway. It would be great on film. ^_^

Some of the greatest words that I can hear right now, "We'll shoot it". I am looking forward to seeing Ron and Hermione as a married couple with 2 little ginger haired children, watching them go off to hogwarts. I hope he sticks to his word, it's one of my fave scenes in the whole book!
