Its great that they are keeping this scene in and all, but Ive learned to stop getting my hopes up. In OOTP they flew sooo close to the ground on the way to Grimmauld Place. And HBP I was really dissapointed with. It looks to me that there filming this entire scene on the ground. Which is a huuggee mistake. They cant have 7 identical people in a huge magic fight, with peoples ears getting blown off, and people dying, and things exploding right in front of muggles on a street! But I guess they diddnt take that into consideration when they were filming the flight scene in ootp. When they flew right in front of that tour ship, and in the very opening scene of harry performing magic in Poa. I personally think that each movie after cos is starting to get lazy on keeping magic a secret from muggles.

Brilliant...Photos, I hope the Deathly Hallows movie does not go as fast as the Half blood prince did.

Looks like it could be a fun scene. I'm not making too many judgements as of yet. It's still possible they could be having the bike fly. Special effects and all. And they obviously wouldn't be able to show what it would look like flying this early. They need to do all the extra work. You never know how these things have to start out before the movie magic happens. I would imagine them using green screen but you never know.
Anyways...very cool to see some pics. Be interesting to see how it ends up in the movie. But we've got a long wait for that.heh.

Umm, yeah, I'm sure Muggles aren't going to notice a half-giant, seven identical people, and a massive magical battle in the middle of the street. I am starting to become a little down about this scene being true to the book, because why would they spend all the extra time and money to have a whole bunch of cars? Ugh.....
Also, did anyone else notice how the cars on both sides of the street are going the same way? Though, they could be on a huge highway that separates directions.....

This is great footage-keep it coming until november 2010! mrsharrypotter4500 has a point though, it's vital to film magic properly, so that at least the action scenes preserve the spirit of the books. It would be a great disappointment to see Harry and Hagrid merely driving or flying close to the ground.Hopefully Warner Bros' computer artists will turn it into something really stunning.

I look forward to seeing the seven Potters scene in the next installment. As I've just completed a re-reading of DH, I imagine how funny that would be to see. Very pleased to see it will make the cut.
Not sure why the scene is shot in a street (I really hope it will occur in the air, as it's suppose to).

How much longer to wait now?!!! Ah, it's good to see some snippets of the filming, and yet ... they're driving down a London road. ON THE ROAD. Not in the air.
David Yates, a good spanking is in order for you, old boy! Stop trying to reinvent Harry and leave the dramatic scenes as written ... or at least don't burn down the Weasley's house again!!
