[Alan] was asked about acting with CGI, and described how difficult it is, acting to a blue screen, especially when filming the stands shots for the Quidditch matches.... He blamed CGI for making the actors sit around all day eating sandwiches, so that his close fitting costume became very tight.
He also said that the boggart in the wardrobe scene has been shot. He shot his first scene for POA in February, and his last one only last month.

What can I add, morgana witch and Tonks007? HE IS THE BEST!!! Of course, I'm a fan, so don't mind if I'm a little enthusiastic. Can't wait to see him in PoA. Thinking of the Boggart scene and still have to wait till June drives me crazy. It is so great that we finally get some information about Alan Rickman. Never want to see another actor playing Severus Snape!

Alan Rickman is a totally delightful actor even when he isn't Snape. If you want to see him in a more romantic role, may I recommend Truly, Madly, Deeply to see him in a different light.

Rickman is one of my favorite actors ever! His Snape is brilliant, but I've seen him in a few other things, such as the hilarious science fiction spoof Galaxy Quest, with Tim Allen and Sigourny Weaver, and Sense and Sensability, with Emma Thompson, who is now doing Trelawney for PoA. Yeah, he's absolutely fantastic, and I eagerly await his future projects.

He is definitely is a great actor. Since he pulls off the dual Snape so well, he must be very versatile. I hope to see him in later works. As well as all the other HP movies, without a doubt.

Alan Rickman is a wonderful Severus Snape. Can't imagine someone to take his place. His looks are excellent (this greasy hair), ok the nose is not that hooked - but the voice. The voice is great! Everytime I watch PS I'm fascinated of the "first-potion-lesson"-scene. ... bewitch the mind, brew glory, put a stopper to death... Ah, it's so wonderful! Can't get enough of that.

So sorry to disappoint you, John Dee, but this is not a real photo, regardless what the site says. I can't remember where it originated now, but I remember I saw it the first time it came out, and the site where it was originally posted clearly stated it was made by photoshop as fanart by one of their regulars. So this is fake, even if it is a great achievement in photoshop. I'm somehow glad it is, because I always wanted that vulture hat to be more spectacular than this. Let's hope CuarĂ³n together with the costume department have whipped up something really spectacular for us!!! (When he can add little sugar skulls at Honeydukes and give the kids coloured lining for their cloaks, he sure must be able to give Snape a red handbag, don't you think?)

Finally some news again about Alan Rickman and it makes me just more curious to see POA! He is for me the best actor there is! Only the boggart-scene, I don't know for sure if I would like it. I feel so sorry for Snape. Poor man. But on the other hand it could be very funny as well. That's the great thing about Alan Rickman, he makes you like every character he playes,It doesn't matter if it's an villain or not. For me Snape isn't!!
So Percy is ready, Snape is ready filming who's next?
