'Potter' stars attend 'Music from the Movies' in London
Earlier this evening "Harry Potter" stars Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane and director Mike Newell attended the 'Music from the Movies,' a concert to aid the UK's leading blood cancer charity Leukaemia Research at the Royal Albert Hall. All the music performed at the concert was written by "Goblet of Fire" film composer Patrick Doyle; himself a leukemia survivor.

JKR & 'Potter' stars participate in Stephen Fry's birthday celebrations
Last weekend, Stephen Fry, the voice behind the British version of the "Harry Potter" audio books, celebrated his 50th birthday and author JK Rowling, as well as some actors from the movies, participated in a televised celebration on the BBC's "Stephen Fry 50 Not Out" program.

Confirmed list of attendees for 'OotP' LA premiere
The U.S. premiere of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is scheduled to take place this Sunday, July 8th at Grauman's Chinese Theatre and Warner Bros. has sent us a list of scheduled attendees who are slated to start arriving at 3:30 pm (PST).

To continue on all the news we have had from the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" press junket this past weekend, Imelda Staunton (Prof. Umbridge) says that the film was a "serious piece of work" and that the scene with Harry's detention was very hard.

In a new video featuring Imelda Staunton, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson each talk about the movie and the past films. Update: We now have video from SKY news and GMTV in the UK.

In an interesting article discussing the merits of being a villain in the summer blockbusters coming out this year, a brief description is given of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" villain Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton), with Ms. Staunton saying: "If she seemed hard, there would be no surprises."

In a short interview with Imelda Staunton (Prof. Umbridge) and Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" movie, Imelda discusses taking the role and Jason mentions the British actors who are in the movies and others who are just vying for a role. Also in the piece David Heyman briefly touches on the recent decision of Emma to continue with the movies. Potter stars attend First Light Movies awards in London
On Sunday we let you know that the first film in the "Harry Potter" series had been voted favorite film by children in Britain in a poll by First Light Movies, the young people's filmmaking arm of the UK Film Council. Earlier tonight, Imelda Staunton, Katie Leung, Matthew Lewis and Bonnie Wright from the movies attended the First Light Movies award ceremony in London.

Yates comments on 'Phoenix' running time
Some news about "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" has appeared in the latest edition of Empire magazine. In the article, director David Yates states that he has filmed "a movie that's probably over three hours, so I'll have to lose 45 minutes in the edit." Comments from David Heyman and Imelda Stauton also appear.

"Harry Potter" actors Emma Thompson (Prof. Trelawney), Imelda Staunton (Prof. Umbridge) and David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.) attended the 'Glamour Women of the Year Awards' last night in the UK, where Ms. Thompson received the 'Film-Maker of the Year' award.

Potter cast on TV
Here is a quick round up of some U.S. television shows that will be featuring "Harry Potter" actors in the near future. Tonight, fans in the U.S. will be able to view Imelda Staunton (Prof. Umbridge) from the next movie, in PBS's airing of "My Family and Other Animals." Dan will be appearing in the second season of "Extras," which will be showing on HBO this June. Last but not least, Jason Isaacs will appear in Showtime's original series "Brotherhood" which will air in July.
