News on 'OotP' soundtrack  Comments (107)
As we previously mentioned the soundtrack from the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" movie will be released on July 10. We now have additional news letting us know that the soundtrack will not include songs from the movie, but will be a score-only release.

A teaser of our report will be published along with the teaser trailer for the film later this year, and a full report will follow in 2007. It was day 103 of about 150 days of shooting, and the movie is shaping up to be another blockbuster success.

As exclusively reported by HPANA back in April, composer Nicholas Hooper is set to write the music for director David Yates' "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," it was announced by Warner Bros. in a press release today. Helena Bonham Carter, who replaces Helen McCroy as Bellatrix Lestrange, was also confirmed.

According to an updated cast list for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," Dario Marianelli will be the composer for the film. There has been no announcement as to whether or not John Williams would be reprising his role, so please treat this as a rumor until confirmed.
