'Equus' to begin rehearsals on Friday in NYC
Broadway rehearsals for "Equus" staring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths from the "Harry Potter" movies, are set to begin on Friday, August 8. The play is set to run from September 5 through February 8, 2009.

Update: Griffiths & Radcliffe set to present at this year's Tony Awards from NYC
Richard Griffiths and Daniel Radcliffe from the "Harry Potter" movies are two of the scheduled presenters at this year's Tony Awards. The ceremony will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on WCBS on Sunday, June 15th from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. Update: You can now purchase tickets for the event, and in case you can't be there in person you can also view the red-carpet arrivals as well as the show via the Tony web site.

Griffiths & Radcliffe on Broadway in 'Equus' in 2008
A report this morning states that "Harry Potter" actors Richard Griffiths and Daniel Radcliffe are set to reprise their "Equus" roles on Broadway in September 2008. Both actors will be once again directed by Thea Sharrock with rehearsals to being next August. This news has been confirmed by Dan's publicist.

Official word has come from Emma Watson, Hermione in the "Harry Potter" movies, that she will be starring in the BBC's adaptation of "Ballet Shoes," set to air around Christmas time in the UK. Also starring will be Potter stars Richard Griffiths and Robert Hardy.

We have been receiving emails all morning letting us know that "Harry Potter" actors Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths are planning to take the current production of "Equus", which closes on June 9th on London's West End, to Broadway in 2008. Please note that this news has not been confirmed so please treat as a rumor.

Reports are surfacing online that the current production of "Equus" on London's West End featuring "Harry Potter" stars Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths is Broadway bound. Update: According to The Sun, a British tabloid, Dan has been promised the lead role in the play when it goes to Broadway.

Interview with Griffiths on 'Potter' & 'Equus'
In a recent interview, Richard Griffiths, Uncle Vernon from the "Harry Potter" movies, who is in the West End play "Equus" with Daniel Radcliffe, commented on his younger co-stars ability to perform by saying: "You have to make them look better, because that will help you. And that's something I'm used to doing -- helping other people on stage with me to get on. But not with Danny Radcliffe -- he's going to be fine."
