"Harry Potter" actors Richard Griffiths and Julie Walters are scheduled to receive Orders of the British Empire (OBE) and Commander of the British Empire (CBE) respectively. These awards were created by King George V in 1917 and are now awarded mainly to civilians and service personnel for public service or other distinctions.

Rupert mentions that he has yet to sign up for "Half-Blood Prince" but really wants to do it.

U.S. to take 'Driving Lessons' October 13
As was reported earlier, audiences in parts of the U.S. will get to see "Driving Lessons" on October 13, 2006. Now Sony Pictures Classics's web site has been updated with a synopsis, photos and other information. The film, which already debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, features "Harry Potter" stars Rupert Grint and Julie Walters. The movie is billed as a coming-of-age story, and also stars Laura Linney (The Truman Show, Kinsey).

'Potter' stars to attend Queen's birthday celebration
A few stars from the "Harry Potter" movies are scheduled to take part in a play called 'The Queen's Handbag,' which will be part of the Children's Party at the Palace for the Queen on June 25th. It is being reported that stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will be taking part in a video clip set to air at the party and that Dan will not be attending as we've stated previously.

Potter stars movies showing at the Tribeca Film Festival
"Harry Potter" actors Julie Walters and Rupert Grint's film "Driving Lessons" will be one of the many movies showed at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Alan Rickman's movie Snowcake will also been shown. The festival runs from April 5th through May 7th and will showcase over 250 movies from around the world.

UK's Walk of Fame includes Potter stars
To answer Hollywood's Walk of Fame, the UK has unveiled the Avenue of Stars in central London. Stars from the last 50 years in entertainment honored included "Harry Potter" actors Dame Maggie Smith, Julie Walters, John Cleese, Robbie Coltrane, Kenneth Branagh, Lenny Henry, Eric Sykes and Sir Michael Gambon.
