David Heyman answered two questions for HPANA at an interview today on his new film, "The Boy In The Striped Pajamas." Heyman revealed that he has read the "first half of the adaptation" of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and that the second half from Steve Kloves would be coming "in the next few weeks."

The Los Angeles Times just broke the long-rumored news that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be split into two films, directed by David Yates from a script by Steve Kloves. The report cites producer David Heyman and says the official announcement will be made tomorrow by Warner Bros. The films, simply titled "Part One" and "Part Two," will be released in November 2010 and May 2011 respectively.

Answering a question posed to her at tonight's book reading at Carnegie Hall in New York, "Harry Potter" author JK Rowling said she "always saw Dumbledore as gay" and that Hogwarts headmaster originally fell in love with the wizard Grindelwald in his youth. She also said she has read through Steve Kloves' script for the movie adaptation of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and corrected a passage in which Dumbledore was reminiscing about a past female lover.

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films announced today that "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" leads the nominations in the 31st Annual Saturn Awards. The movie has been nominated in 9 categories including Best Picture (Fantasy), Best Director (Alfonso Cuarón) and Best Writer (Steve Kloves). Daniel Radcliffe received a nomination for Best Performance By A Younger Actor and Gary Oldman as Best Supporting Actor.
