'Half-Blood Prince'
Yates & Radcliffe to participate in live 'HBP' screening
In celebration of the release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" Blu-ray, fans will be offered the chance to watch the movie live in a first-ever worldwide Live Community Screening (LCS), which will take place on December 12 at 12:00 P.M. PST (3:00 P.M. EST). Participants Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates will join the screening from London and take part in an interactive Q&A session where they will answer questions about the blockbuster film.

Decline in DVD sales may affect 'HBP' DVD
A very interesting article comes online today in regards to the effectiveness of DVD sales on the "Harry Potter" franchise. The article mentions that while Warner Bros. made a huge profit with DVD sales of the first movie in the series, each additional movie has dropped in sales, and due to the decline in DVD sales over the last two years may have an an effect on "Half-Blood Prince" sales.

New interviews with 'Harry Potter' cast
In two new interviews with the cast of the "Harry Potter" movies Jason Isaacs, who plays Lucius Malfoy, jokingly says that the films would have benefitted if the young cast had been more rebellious and discusses if they have a future after the series. In an additional interview cast members Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, as well as director David Yates answer some questions about the movies and more.

New article from 'HBP' movie set
In a new article from the set of the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" movie we hear from Daniel Radcliffe, director David Yates and producer David Barron. The article describes the filming of the Christmas party at Slughorn's, Dan discussing Harry's relationship with Ginny and David Yates saying "the fifth [film] was pretty intense, but this one has more comedy in it."

'Deathly Hallows' split
Report: 'Deathly Hallows' to be two films, directed by David Yates
The Los Angeles Times just broke the long-rumored news that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be split into two films, directed by David Yates from a script by Steve Kloves. The report cites producer David Heyman and says the official announcement will be made tomorrow by Warner Bros. The films, simply titled "Part One" and "Part Two," will be released in November 2010 and May 2011 respectively.

Update: 'Potter' actors attend Empire Awards, Yates wins 'Best Director'
This weekend, the Empire Awards were held in London and David Yates walked away with the 'Best Director' award for his work on 'Order of the Phoenix'. Numerous 'Harry Potter' actors were also in attendance, including Emma Watson, Evanna Lynch and Katie Leung. Pictures of the event can be seen online. Update: In a video interview from the event David Yates mentions talks of him directing "Deathly Hallows."
