'Harry Potter: The Exhibition' lands in Boston  Comments (10)
Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) took a break yesterday from filming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" to attend the opening of the "Harry Potter: The Exhibition" at Boston's Museum of Science where it will be displayed October 25 - February 21, 2010. Mr. Lewis discussed the exhibit as well as the last film in the series.

The release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is just weeks away and some lucky fans in the UK will have a chance to participate in a tour which will be attended by stars Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) at the launch of 'West End Live' on Friday, 19th June.

Earlier tonight "Harry Potter" cast members Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis and Evanna Lynch attended the National Movie Awards in London, England. The fifth movie in the franchise, "Order of the Phoenix," won the award in the 'Best Family Film' category and both Dan and Emma won awards in the 'Best Actor' and 'Best Actress' categories. Update: We now have some video interviews with Emma, Daniel and Rupert, as well as video from the event broadcast.

On Sunday we let you know that the first film in the "Harry Potter" series had been voted favorite film by children in Britain in a poll by First Light Movies, the young people's filmmaking arm of the UK Film Council. Earlier tonight, Imelda Staunton, Katie Leung, Matthew Lewis and Bonnie Wright from the movies attended the First Light Movies award ceremony in London.

The Children's Party to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 80th birthday took place today and in attendance were author JK Rowling and actors Rupert Grint and Matthew Lewis. While Jo read from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," a video featuring Dan, Rupert, Emma and Matthew was shown as part of the skit for the search for the Queen's handbag. Rowling also commented in an interview that she is sad that the book saga is coming to an end. Additional video of the event is also available from CBBC Newsround.

Earlier in the month, we reported that four of the young actors from the "Harry Potter" films were set to appear in a video clip to be featured during the Queen's 80th birthday Children's Party on June 25th. A commercial recently aired on the BBC in the UK showing a brief clip of their skit, which shows Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville in the Gryffindor common room. UPDATE: You can now see the video of the commerical as well as screencaps.
